HOW TO LEARN SPOKEN ENGLISH?

Despite the fact that there are plethora of languages spoken all over the world and it's not humanly possible to learn all the languages. However, English can be perceived as a life savior in our day to day dealings, no matter what part of the world we are in.

English, by all means, a non-phonetic language, yet it is widely spoken after Mandarin, a Chinese dialect (spoken in China) only. Despite having a non-phonetic character, English has diligently been worked upon, especially in terms of grammar. It has been made user-friendly, and this is perhaps the basic reason that lots of people learn to speak English because it invites everyone.

Acquisition of language is a skill that can be obtained by investing into it. Let's take language as a ball game. The ultimate goal of this game is to let it roll. Therefore, one should let the conversation ball roll and roll over without shyness. I'm not just talking about English here, it can be any targeted language for which one slightly needs to modify his lifestyle by incorporating all four skills into getting the maximum exposure of a language.

Language is a lifestyle:

Becoming a pro in Spoken English heavily depends upon how much time we invest in it. Acquisition of language is sort of a lifestyle that primarily depends upon all four skills every human being is blessed with; reading, writing, listening, and speaking. In all these four skills, the targeted language should be our top most priority.

Language as a hobby:

Like me, you can simply pick the targeted language as a hobby by listening to songs related to any genre of your choice or choosing flicks of different genres that are in the language you intend to speak. Choosing language as a hobby is a matter of priority. It shows how keen and serious you are to acquire the language you dreamt of. 

Think in English:

When it comes to thinking, we all think in our mother tongue or the language we're comfortable in. It's an old habit that needs to be undone and yes! it doesn't happen overnight. It's a constant effort, off and on, you need to give reminders to your mind that you have to think in English. Every time, you're hanging on to this old habit, repeat the mantra over and over to kill the old habit. Talk to yourself in English, learn to plan things in English. Of course it's not an easy peasy task, it requires consistency and you need to be consistent.

Shyness kills the progress:

Learn from toddlers. Yes, learn from toddlers. Toddlers, while acquiring language, don't feel shy while making mistakes. Lot of people are overly-conscious when they try to speak target language and this is the point where the progress stops. Go beyond your comfort zone. Make mistakes, its OKAY BECAUSE NO ONE'S PERFECT.

Texting in English:

Prefer to send messages and voice notes in English. This is the best opportunity for you to grab. Try to be innovative in your messages by  incorporating the new words or synonyms you come across.
